ostMonster 和 BlueHost 乃同属一家公司，HostMonster的主机注册流程与 BlueHost的完全一模一样。

至于为何BlueHost要成立另外一家HostMonster 主机公司呢? 这是一种行销策略。通过不同的品牌来针对不同的客户群进行促销。HonsterMonster涨价以后与BlueHost价格相当，一年付费都是7.95 美元，两年付费，bluehost是6.95美元而hostmonster是5.95美元。但是hostmonster的功能要比bluehost的强。

hostmonster支持无限域名，而bluehost仅可以建立6个网站。另外，对很多中国客户比较有利的是，HostMonster的线路专门针对中国进行了优化，在很多地区的访问速度较快；HostMonster提供简体中文控制面板，这对于英文不好的站长将是十分有利的。
